Recording and playing back RF spectrum is a fundamental requirement in most EMSO missions. D-TA has developed a software-based record/playback engine via the 10/40/100 GbE UDP/IP data network using off-the-shelf RAID servers. Coupled with D-TA’s innovative network attached sensor interface products, it provides end-to-end solutions for record/playback of RF and IF signals for demanding radio and radar applications.

D-TA has delivered full recording solutions that support sustained data rates of 32 GBytes/s for recording 8 phase coherent RF channels (0.5 – 40 GHz) with 1 GHz IBW. D-TA’s OTH radar project support recording of 1024 HF channels at 256 GBytes/s, 10 Km away (using single mode fiber network).
